Marcus Ball is a trans artist born in Chicago currently living and working in Queens, NY. His work is all about finding tragedy, beauty, and humor in the mundane. He earned a B.A. in Fine Arts from Fordham University in 2019. He has previously shown at FXOne Collaborative Gallery and The Living Gallery.
The two pieces in this show represent the artist's new found interest in candles as a motif for the infantile sexual and the way that human emotion unavoidably oozes out of the parameters of our social and material expectations.
