Alejandro Portela (él) es un fotógrafo, filmmaker, publicista profesional y músico de Bogotá, Colombia con sede en Nueva York. Su vida entera ha girado en torno a el arte, por eso siempre se ha interesado en explorar las diferentes formas de desarrollarlo. Su encuentro con la fotografía nace de la necesidad de mostrarle al mundo su propia perspectiva y materialización de las ideas que rondan constantemente en su cabeza. Gracias a su estudio y preparación a podido desarrollar un lenguaje único a través de sus imágenes, y la combinación de sus múltiples talentos entregan obras que hablan por sí solas.

Alejandro Portela (he/him) is a photographer, filmmaker, professional publicist and musician from Bogota Colombia, based in NY. His entire life has revolved around art, which is why he has always been interested in exploring the different ways of developing it. His encounter with photography stems from the need to show the world his own perspective and materialization of the ideas that are constantly in his head. Thanks to his studies and preparation he has been able to develop a unique language through his images which allows the combination of his multiple talents to deliver works that speak for themselves.
