Eleventh Hour Art is pleased to present GIRLHOOD, a solo exhibition featuring the paintings of Ginger Snow Semmelhack. Semmelhack is an oil painter born and raised in Brooklyn, currently working between New York City and Berlin. Her evocative works explore the complexities of girlhood. Through glimpses of fleeting moments, Snow creates visual tension that feels simultaneously intimate and voyeuristic. As you walk through the gallery, you become both a peer of her subjects and an observer. Grounded in realism with nuanced moments of surrealism, Snow makes you both nostalgic for a past innocence, and acutely aware of your adult perspective.
