Lindsey Acree was born in Hawaii and currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. Acree is a multimedia visual artist whose works investigate, challenge, and celebrate womanhood, sexuality, and the body. She uses a variety of material including found objects, melted wax, dollar bills, resin, and paint. In addition to her artistic practice, she is the founder of Eleventh Hour Art, and works to support and connect local artists through her burgeoning art platform.

Acree’s work is presented in our current exhibition, Hysteria, through June 5.
